A Safe Haven for Black Cats
The Black Cat Sanctuary of Indianapolis is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to rescuing and providing a permanent home for black cats, while also advocating for their well-being and educating the community about their unique needs and the myths surrounding them. While we are closed to the public, we will schedule special events where guests can come meet and mingle with our cats.
Our mission is to create a safe and loving environment for black cats, and to dispel the misconceptions and superstitions associated with them. We believe that every black cat deserves a happy and fulfilling life. We will house as many black cats as possible and then donate to partner organizations to assist with donation fees at their facilities.
Your generous donations help us continue our important work of rescuing and caring for black cats. With your support, we can provide proper medical care, nutritious food, and a comfortable home for these beautiful creatures. Part of your donation will be used to pay the donation fees of area shelters for individuals looking to adopt a black cat.
